Gallery“Mike and Ike’s” is Detroit, MI recording group Viva La Vam’s (Rich and Red) 1st release of 2013. The song is A funky flip to Issac Hayes “Ike’s Mood” with an uptempo jazz overlay taking the classic sample to a cool place no artist has taken it. Red kicks things off followed by Rich, both MC’s boasting a fresh, lyrical, and diverse style. “Mike and Ike’s” is brought to life in blaxploitation film fashion, made famous by movies like Black Dynamite and I’m Gon Get You Sucka. As they play Mike & Ike the cop duo who have there eyes set on taking down the Evil drug lord “The Man”. The tracks production credits go to that of The Visioneers. The visual Direction and Production credits go to Adam Bussell and Brad Kinan.
